Memorial Day Parade:

Calling all Gardeners to come and show your gardening pride this Sunday, May 26th.  The Memorial Day parade will begin at noon from the Rowayton Community Center.  Petrea & Michael's cart will be waiting for us along Highland Avenue at the top of the dog park.

Please show up at 11 am to help "green up" the garden cart with blooming flowers from your garden. and wear your gardening jeans, white shirts and your Rowayton Gardeners hat.

Please send Erin an email if you are able to march. She and Sally would love to get a good crowd of Gardeners to help distribute the wonderful "Rowayton Gardeners Latest Projects" flyers that Dani helped create.  The first 25 Gardeners to arrive will receive a "cool new RG canvas bag!"

Springtime tip:  Recipe for deer-foiling success!
If deer are munching on your newly emerging buds and shoots, try this organic solution recommended by speaker Colleen Plimpton and vetted by Gardeners Michael & Petrea Poler:

In a blender, mix 2 eggs, 1/4 cup wilt proof , 1/4 cup extra, extra hot sauce, one cup water. Mix thoroughly and add mix to one gallon of water. Spray everywhere and often on the things deer love to munch.
