Check out the spiffy new plant labels that identify the herbs in the flagpole garden at Pinkney Park. Thanks to Carey Hahn for her penmanship and to the 6th Taxing District for the new drip watering zone that will keep the new herbs healthy even in times of drought.
A Potting Shed gathering for young moms took place in June to benefit the Jessie Lewis Choose Love Foundation was a great success. Thanks to a generous grant, our new compost bins were recently installed behind the Potting Shed Patch and will allow us to increase our composting efforts, making our gardens richer as they recycle garden waste. Special thanks to the staff of the 6th Taxing District for help with the project!
