Please join us for a unique opportunity to visit one of Connecticut’s little-known gems in Derby CT. Our day out will include a tour of the Osborne Homestead Museum, an 1850s colonial revival home, which celebrates the life and times of Frances Osborne Kellogg, a leader in conservation, agriculture, horticulture and business. The Homestead is a member of the CT Women’s Heritage Trail and Connecticut’s Historic Gardens. We’ll have an opportunity to explore the grounds and gardens, observing the variations in landscape design and function. Our visit to the Kellogg Environmental Center features an expert-led session: “If It’s on the Ground, It Goes in the Sound,” exploring how we can protect our local waters. After our tours, we’ll enjoy boxed lunches prepared by Creative Kitchen and Catering, from Shelton, CT.

Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026
Time: Meet at Rowayton Community Center Lower Parking Lot at 8:30 am to form carpools
Tours start: 10:00 am
Lunch: Noon
Return: We’ll arrive back at the RCC Parking Lot around 2 pm
Cost: $25 pp for members, $35 pp non-member. Payment must be made to reserve your spot.
There are a few coveted spaces left. Registration for non-members begin Friday, May 22. Last day to register is Thursday, May 28.
