Field Trip to Hill-Stead Museum and Gardens

Join us for a September 22nd trip to Hillstead-Museum, a 1901 Colonial Revival home and National Historic Landmark on 152 stately acres.
The museum has a superb collection of French Impressionists.  Two women were responsible for the home of Alfred Pope Riddle. His daughter Theodate Pope Riddle was the architect and Beatrix Ferrand designed the Sunken Gardens – a feature of our docent led tour.  Please use this form to register online:

Trip Details:

• Meet at Rowayton Community Center at 8 am for a prompt 8:15 am departure. Form carpools…..do let us know on the registration form if you’re willing to drive.
• Enjoy a docent-led tour of Museum & Sunken Gardens 10 am
• Lunch at nearby Apricots Restaurant on the Farmington River
• Return to Rowayton Community Center at about 3:30 pm

Cost:
$50 members, $55 non-members

Members-only registration thru September 8th
Open registration begins September 9th
Registration deadline September 19th (confirmed only with payment)
