The Rowayton Gardeners have collaborated with USTA-sponsored Norwalk Grassroots Tennis and Education at 11 Ingalls Ave in South Norwalk for several years, providing gardening and healthy snack activities after school for middle school students during the school year, 
with more flexibly during the summer months.
During the school year, join in every other Thursday 4 – 5:30 for a healthy snack activity (introducing flavor combinations, making healthy garden derived snacks, bringing seasonal recipes to share); spring planting and summer garden education programming in the vegetable patch is more flexible: watering can be done on one’s own schedule or come during camp time for 6 weeks or during tennis coaching often extending til 6:00pm to engage kids and families in picking, tasting, or bring harvests down to the courts.
