The Rowayton Gardeners’ Annual Christmas Market will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 10 am – 1 pm at the Rowayton Community Center, 33 Highland Avenue. Great bargains for holiday decorating include more than 100 gorgeous, designer-quality, hand-decorated wreaths, mini-boxwood trees, festive table arrangements… and swags of greens –along with unique gifts, and a fabulous Silent Auction with over 20 items.
The Christmas Market is our largest fund raiser and all profits from the Market help support our many beautification projects which include the School Pond, the Community Center, Bayley Beach and all the other public gardens you enjoy viewing. This past year we have helped make Pinkney Park pesticide free and started the Wetlands Restoration project at McKinley Street and Roton Avenue. We’ve also recently cleaned and rejuvenated the Potting Shed and Greenhouse behind the Community Center. We need your support to continue our efforts in environmental education and civic beautification. Shop early and help support all that the gardeners do to improve our community. Great thanks to the Fairfield County Bank, our 2013 Market Sponsor!
