Tuesday, April 12
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
The Rowayton Gardeners invite you to an information-packed presentation by UConn Advanced Master Gardener and Master Composter, Alice Ely. She also serves as Gardens Chair at Wakeman Town Farm, is a registered Monarch way-station creator, spreads the word about the Pollinator Pathway, and teaches homeowners how to garden through her garden coaching business, gardenwithalice.com.
NOW is the perfect time to get your garden in shape for the growing season, and learning the basics of home composting is a good place to start. Alice will teach us the how’s and why’s of composting, show us how to take a soil sample, and tell us about vermiculture. We’ll have time for a Q and A session, at the end of the program.
