Don’t miss “Forage and Feast with Hayden Stebbins” at Millstone Farm on Thursday, May 7th, from 10 am to 2 pm! This just might be the most unique field trip we’ve ever offered! We’ll join ethnobiologist and functional herbalist, Hayden Stebbins, for a walk through wooded areas and fields at Millstone Farm in Wilton, to see the world in a way we’ve never seen it before. Hayden will teach us about common, introduced and native plants and give us how-to’s on identifying them by family and let us know the edible, medicinal or poisonous properties. We’ll be harvesting edible plants as we go and bring them to the kitchen where we’ll help prepare a multi-course meal combining our harvest with additional food items. After lunch, those interested can have a further tour of the farm. Space is strictly limited to 20 attendees and registration info will be available in the coming weeks.
