Thursday, November 7
9:30 am - 11:30 am
The Rowayton Gardeners invite members and non-members to an upcoming program by Toshi Yano called “From Formal to Free: New Approaches in the Garden” on Thursday, November 7 in the Moose Room at the Rowayton Community Center. Our business meeting will start at 9:30 am followed by our featured program at 10:30 am. The event is free.
Toshi Yano, Director of the Perfect Earth Project, will draw on his professional experiences in public gardens and private estates to discuss the challenges facing our landscapes. As human and environmental health are faced with a litany of new pressures, our gardens can become sanctuaries. Working where nature and culture meet, gardeners have a unique opportunity to impact biodiversity and help make landscapes more resilient.
Join us as Toshi shares some exciting new ideas for stewarding our lawns and gardens into the future. Door Prize drawing is the Perfect Earth Booklet: Nature Based Gardening: Creating Beautiful and Healthy Earth-Friendly Landscapes.
Feel free to invite a friend. Don’t miss this information-packed evening!
