The Rowayton Gardeners invite members and non-members to a program by Jen Plasky called “Perfect Performing Planters: Fall and Winter” on Thursday, October 10 at 7:30 pm in the Moose Room at the Rowayton Community Center. Our October business meeting will start at 6:30 pm followed by our featured program at 7:30 pm.
Jen Plasky is a horticulturist, educator and container expert. She managed the Container Garden and Seasonal Décor departments at Sam Bridge Nursery and Greenhouses in Greenwich. Her 25 years of experience working in floristry, greenhouses, garden centers and landscape companies have instilled a passion for creating stunning horticultural accents to suit each season.
You’ll glean tips on selecting the strongest performing plant types and pointers on how to create arrangements for the best visual impact, as Jen shares how container gardens can be utilized to highlight the best each season has to offer.
Following the presentation, we’ll have a drawing for one of Jen’s curated containers!
