In the spring of 2012, the Gardeners “adopted” this spot from the city of Norwalk. This garden was originally put in by the city when they closed that portion of the street. Initially neighbors maintained it, but over the years the garden began to get neglected. The Gardeners decided that the best way to make sure it is always cared for is to adopt it officially. Our group is happy to do this for the community so that all can enjoy the beautiful flowers while walking Rowayton.
