Monday, February 13
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Green thumbs, cooks and foodies are all invited to a special lecture and slideshow at the Rowayton Community Center highlighting Emmons’s third cookbook, Wild Flavors, an IACP cookbook about Eva’s Garden, a certified organic farm, founded and run by Eva in South Dartmouth, MA. The talk is co-sponsored by the Rowayton Gardeners and the Rowayton Library and will take place Monday, February 13th from 7 to 8:30 pm.
Eva and Didi share their knowledge and imaginative applications of over 46 herbs, greens and weeds, mostly cultivated but also foraged. Attendees will have an opportunity to both smell and taste a variety of unusual herbs. Come prepared for this feast of the senses as Eva guides attendees through the flavor profiles, botanical histories, and best growing practices of various plants.
