As we kick off the new year in our gardens, it is time to reflect as a club where we might like to focus our gardening efforts in and around town. Let’s take this opportunity to put our heads together and brainstorm the best ways to spend our hard-earned fund-raising money. This is going to be a very important meeting to attend if you have any ideas about what you might like to see blossom in Rowayton – or even if you just want to hear what others think!
Our General Meeting starting at 9:30 am on January 8th will be devoted almost entirely to the discussion of our future – concentrating on where we want to expend our resources in coming years. This will be (I think) the first sort of strategic thinking gathering the Rowayton Gardeners have had in history and we’ll make it especially enticing with a lovely light brunch to accompany the coffee and tea we normally serve. Our “Future Fest” will be a feast, as well!
