Ever wonder how to cut back your roses and summer blooming shrubs or which to leave alone? In a couple of weeks we will learn the answers as we prune the community center shrubs. Join Phyllis, Susanne, Sally and Lilly (Community Center Gardens Co-Chairs) from 9 am to noon on April 10th and 13th (rain dates April 18th and 20th) with your gloves, pruners and loppers for the annual spring pruning of summer blooming shrubs. All are welcome to help – and learn!
Prune-a-thon Day 1:
Rose Bed, Flagpole, Library Window, Courtyard – we will move to other garden areas if we get a good crowd.
Prune-a-thon Day 2:
Shrub pruning continues in all gardens and we will review all beds for damage and immediate needs.
